The Momcozy BM04 Smart Baby Monitor combines a 5-inch parent monitor with Wi-Fi app access, allowing caregivers to monitor their baby at home through the dedicated screen or remotely through the Momcozy app.
The camera provides 1080p HD video with clear night vision for daytime and low-light monitoring. Two-way audio allows caregivers to listen and speak through the baby monitor, while motion and crying detection provide real-time app notifications.
The BM04 supports both Wi-Fi and non-Wi-Fi monitoring. The included parent unit provides a direct connection for use at home, while the Momcozy app enables remote live viewing on a compatible smartphone. Wi-Fi pairing requires a 2.4 GHz wireless network.
A customizable Danger Zone feature allows caregivers to define a selected area within the camera view. The app can send a notification when movement is detected outside the designated area. Motion notifications are available through the Momcozy app.
The baby monitor supports continuous and motion-activated video recording. Caregivers can also manually capture photos and videos using the parent monitor or compatible mobile app. Recording availability may depend on the selected settings and compatible storage configuration.
Video access can be shared with up to 20 authorized family members through the Momcozy app. Access should only be provided to trusted users, and account security settings should be configured according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
For proper camera positioning, install the camera at least 24 inches above the baby’s sleep area. When using a wall mount or compatible floor stand, position the camera within approximately 16 feet of the crib to maintain effective infrared night vision.
